So can we expect JB to join the Tommy John club or perhaps experience more injuries?

We seem to be shopping him. I wonder why.

I guess he's not progressing as fast as we'd like for a college arm. This would be the 2nd 1st round miss for Jeff when it comes to older arms.

JB came on strong after he got healthy and was terrific in the AFL. I am guessing that we see him as expendable given how good all of the other pitchers in his draft class were last year. Now that his value has rebounded its a good time to move him.

Yeah in 2018 he had an ERA of 2.14 in 59 IP spread out through 5 teams in the organization.

I think we see him as expendable given he's behind guys like Framber, Cionel, James, Whitley. Still holds value but is becoming a victim of a logjam of arms.

Claimed Chris Hermann off of waivers from the Mariners.

Guess that means Machete will not be returning and as of now it'll be a Stassi/Hermann platoon. Still expect us to somehow land a solid catcher and these two will be battling for the 2nd spot.

The Braves have Flowers as well so this should take them out of the C market. They were potentially in on Grandal as well. The Marlins didn't want to trade Realmuto within the NL East anyway. Could help drive down the price though.

Wasn't there but I told my wife after watching it at home that that game felt just like Gm 5 where you're sitting there watching it unfold and eventually get this feeling like...WTF is going on here?

I was at both as well, and this pretty much covers it for me. My emotional investment in WS G5 was an order of magnitude higher...

so, i was in high school at the time, working a job at a gas station, couldn't get away from my shift that day. my brother was a student at tamu with an extra ticket i could've had for a song and went unused. literally could have and would have gone, but the owner of the gas station i worked at had a tee time that he didn't want to miss, and no other employees available to cover my shift

i mean, i didn't think we'd win so i didn't push the issue too hard,, but still, i wish i'd have been there

My brother was a senior in high school and a friend of his had 2 extra seats my dad and I were offered the morning of...my brother sat with his friend in the 3rd deck of the alum section while my dad and I sat on the 48yd line on the bottom deck in the super rich alum section....it was her grandpas tickets.
