Just wondering, did last night or game 5 last year take the most years off your life? For me, I can't decide.

But St. Louis and Houston continue to show a good amount of interest in Goldschmidt, per Olney, which jibes with a previous report from Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Olney adds that rival clubs believe the Astros have seemingly tried to move young right-hander J.B. Bukauskas, their eighth-ranked prospect at MLB.com, in trade talks.

Back to Houston, which has been shopping near the top of the market for free-agent outfielders, according to Olney, who lists A.J. Pollock, Andrew McCutchen and Michael Brantley among their targets.
So can we expect JB to join the Tommy John club or perhaps experience more injuries?Ag_07 said:

Good for BMac
Got his ring and now gets to go back and finish his career in ATL
Is he enough to take them out of the Realmuto/Ramos market?
Yep. A casualty of the shift.Farmer1906 said:
I like me some McCann. He just seemed like a nice genuine dude. He's just not a productive hitter any longer.
ATL is going to be serious next year.Ag_07 said:

Buster Olney reported the Marlins insisted that Ronald Acuna Jr be included in a Realmuto trade. LOL.
They're also demanding Whitley and/or Tucker be included from us. Maybe they should call the Yankees and see if Judge is available while they're at it. In the meantime, clock is ticking on Realmuto's impending free agency in two years, at which time they'll get nothing for him when he leaves.
I'm not sure if the Marlins understand how trade leverage works.

I walked out of there feeling really similar to when I left game 5.

sorry if this has been discussed...
how many of yall were at both Game 5 and LSU 2018,
I walked out of there feeling really similar to when I left game 5.
Feels awesome to have been at both.
I was at both as well, and this pretty much covers it for me. My emotional investment in WS G5 was an order of magnitude higher...Deluxe said:
I have a hard time comparing the LSU game last week to G5. Arguably the LSU game was a better "game/comeback", but the consequence of losing was a 7 win season instead of an 8 win season. The consequence of losing G5 was that we lose the World Series in all likelihood. I was waaaaaay more emotionally invested in G5.
so, i was in high school at the time, working a job at a gas station, couldn't get away from my shift that day. my brother was a student at tamu with an extra ticket i could've had for a song and went unused. literally could have and would have gone, but the owner of the gas station i worked at had a tee time that he didn't want to miss, and no other employees available to cover my shiftcpsencik04 said:
