Yep - the off-season seems to get longer and longer each year it seems. I'm not nearly as big on the NFL as I am College Football and Aggie Basketball looks to be in for a rough season, so gonna be hard to have anything sports-related to watch. Bad news is that he downgraded the win total by 4 games because the team has lost more talent than it's gained since October. Overall, #26 in change of forecast. I tend to agree that winning the AL will take more than what we have right now- on paper. It could come from RR or CC, but I suspect we'll need to go outside the organization for a difference maker on the mound. It just doesn't seem reasonable to replace Keuchel, Morton and McCullers with minor leaguers all in one year. Even if you backfill with McHugh and/or Peacock, someone has to take their place in kind.

I wish people would stop saying **** like this. "Winning the west rolling out of bed" is anything but a sure thing. Yes, recent success would indicate we would have a good shot, but injuries happen, players regress, prospects don't pan out, etc.
