Breaking pitches truly were worse than slavery for Jon Singleton.Mr.Bond said:

I didn't infer that they had been switched, I meant I expected JV to stay on normal rest and pitch 5 days after his last start, which would put Cole pitching on Wednesday.CSWendt said:Eso si, Que es said:
I was expecting JV to stay on normal rest followed by Cole, Uncle Charle, DK, LMJ for the foreseeable future.
Extra day for JV due to his last outing CG or just want to get Cole on mound quicker due to his longer layoff?
Nobody has been switched around. Cole has always followed McCullers

That Yuli homeun...I was mid sentence talking to someone when he hit it and let out a yell. Fist pumped like crazy when Altuve hit his homerun to tie it.
Man, I still have never been more exhausted watching a sporting event.

This might be old news to some of you, but looks like we are likely to switch our AAA affiliate back to Round Rock, with the Rangers possibly going to San Antonio, who is moving up from AA and also has an expiring contract.

Now that's funny, and almost true.Furlock Bones said:
I live in South Austin. Not sure if it's quicker to go see the Express or head to Minute Maid.

The fact that the change is news to anyone is disappointing just because it means some of you may have missed out on the ridiculous comments made by a certain Ranger fan last year.

I believe so. For example, the San Antonio Missions have an expiring AA contract with the Padres. That franchise (and its roster) will go to Amarillo, where they will get a new name & ballpark.E said:
Can't an MLB team just drop their affiliate and move somewhere else if they want once a contract is up?
Is there a Texas league for High or Low A ball? It would be ideal to drop Buies Creek or Quad Cities but they only play teams in the Carolinas and Midwest.
I still watch game 2 ALCS highlights and game 5 WS highlights at least once a week.astros4545 said:

Round Rock is part of the 'Greater Austin Area" and being that you live in south Austin it is absolutely certain that it will take less time to go see Express play than drive to downtown Houston for an Astros game.Furlock Bones said:
