I absolutely hate taking the bat out of Correa's hands, but given our bad luck with GIDPs this year, I would've been totally fine Carlos bunting there and playing for 1 more run. 3-0 in the 9th would feel a whole lot better than 2-0

That article about Mike Trout posted the other day was interesting about one of the reasons he's been so dominant this year is that he either makes good contact or misses the ball. For instance, that last pitch to Correa would've had a better outcome if he misses instead of a weak grounder to short.

Yeah obviously a lot of that has been luck. But such a minor little thing like barely making contact or missing entirely can make such a big difference.
