How does the HOF determine which team a guy goes in as a member of?
We're talking about 13 years with Tigers. Even if he wins the cy young, MVP, and another world series ring, I don't see him going in as an Astro to the HOF.

I think it's length of service. They decided to intervene after the Rangers put a clause in Ryan's final contract requiring him to wear their hat. And then Tampa Bay tried to do something similar with Wade Boggs.
It would be a damn shame if Pujols ended up going into the HOF as an Angel and not a Cardinal

I've not seen anything that him going in in a Rangers hat was a contractual deal.
