Agree. The crazy thing is that he's not just having his best season yet. He's having arguably the greatest season of all time. His current pace for WAR will surpass Babe's 1923 season. He was unreal last year in 114 games (6.7), yet he's on the verge of passing up his WAR from last year and he's only 73 games in (6.4). He's become like Lebron or Jordan in that he may not win the MVP in a given year, but he's clearly the best baseball player on any field he steps on._lefraud_ said:
I get enamored with Trout (and his stats) on almost a weekly basis. He's like the created player on a video game, it's just ridiculous. The guy is talked about yea, but we are watching a top 10 player of all-time, and I want to hear/see him as much as possible. I don't think a lot of people realize what he's done and/or what he is doing. Guy has finished in the top 1/2 for MVP in 5 of 6 seasons (winning 2). He finished 4th last season because he only played 70% of the season. He will add a 3rd this year, where he's having his best season yet. Truly remarkable.
And heck, I think it may be underselling to say he may be a top 10 player all-time. He's got a real shot at top 3 or 5. He's one of those opposing players I'd gladly pay money to watch.
