I will say it was a familiar feeling of pure frustration to have the Rangers pitcher come out and struggle to find the strike zone, then the opposing pitcher come out and seemingly pour in strikes. The season is truly back.

Last year of contract I believe? It's a team option for 2019, I think anyway.

Team option in 2019 with $6 million buyout. There was a clause where the $20million in 2019 could be fully guaranteed, but it would have required him to pitch 400 innings combined in 2017-18. That's already not happening since last year's injury held him to 150.

He's probably not even going to make it through 5 innings today. Already at 56 pitches through 3 innings thus far.
