Baseball has officially arrived back in Arlington! IMO, I think it is kind of exciting not knowing exactly what to expect this year. We could be in it, but we might not be. I've seen some crazy things happen in baseball!

This is reminding me of my childhood years.... expectations low but who knows. I'd convince myself every year that maybe it would work out. Was a long ride until they finally made the playoffs. I'm still on board though, as always!

What do you think about Gallo being at #2? Not sure that is the place for a guy who strikes out a lot. If DeShields is on and looking to steal, he may have to take more pitches, which doesn't bode well for this strikeout numbers.

But I guess on the flip side, he may be more likely to see a fastball if DeShields is on and they think he may be stealing. Grooved fastballs tend to end up on the other side of the fence. I'm sure they had their analytical guys figure it out and decided to give it a shot.
