Remember running bases at the Astrodome. Have been seriously following the team for over 15yrs now. What a season!

you know another great thing about winning the championship...many pundits thru the years have given the Astros a hard time for having so many retired numbers (nine I think) without a title. No more.

Been following them for close to 40 years. It wasn't my first game, but my most memorable one as a kid was from the '80 playoffs.
34 years but since the killer Bs. live in LA now, never thought about switching allegiance for even a second.

Was born in 1982 at Herman hospital Houston born and raised 35 years.
First game was around 4 or 5. Saw last game in the dome as well

I was able to take him and my brother to game 5 last Sunday. We will remember that night and this season for the rest of our lives.

24 years wait for me. I was delivered a day late because the Rockets were playing a playoff game and my dad and the doctor told my mom she couldn't push. Well worth the wait.
I was born in Houston 2 days before the end of the last Colt 45s season in '64. My first game at the Dome was in '72 versus the Cubs, so 45 years a fan. Mom and Dad are looking down from heaven and smiling right now. They both grew up going to Buffs games and were huge Astros fans until the end.
47 years... I cried seeing them win it. I still don't believe it.

Congrats to all the Astros fans. Y'all have an amazing team. While I'm no Astros fan, I am happy for all my friends who are that get to experience this.

Not a native Houstonian and not a diehard Astros fan but growing up in the 70s as a sports fan in Texas I've waited 48 years for there to be a World Series champ in the Lone Star State. Some of my favorite players growing up were Astros. Somewhere I hope J. R. Richard is enjoying this win!
All 55 years. I can thank my grandfather for my Astros passion. I can remember anytime you wanted to find my grandfather when he was visiting, just go to the back porch and see him listening to the Astros game.

50 years this year, 1967 was my first year as an Astros fan. Rusty Staub was my first favorite player. I still hate Donn Clendenon and everyone who remembers that year will know why.
All 55 years but I don't recall anything the first few since I was born in 61.
49. Tears of joy for those of us who finally saw it and for those fans who watched from above. We did it grandpa!
49 years. Was an Astro Buddy way back when. I wish my parents were alive to see this. They loved this city and the Astros. So many memories flooding over me this post season. This is beyond special.

Astros have a bunch of dirt bags on their team and if you know the term, it's meant as a compliment.
Altuve and Gattis... very happy for these players, glad they got one in their later years.
