I wonder if there is some dermatologist in Tampa yelling "The Yankees are dead to me!" right now

So you think MLB and the other wild card contenders would allow the Rangers to have three extra home games? Simple question.
Is Rosenthal's tweet what derm meant about being judged in the court of public opinion?
I can't tell if you're an insensitive ****** or just dumb as a ****ing rock.RetiredAg said:irish pete ag06 said:
When do you hang your "Ken Rosenthal Agrees with Us Banner?"
No banner. Just good to see the Astros' gross overreaction being called what it was...squawking.
In all seriousness, hope you're fine and were able to avoid flooding. We were fortunate to have amazing drainage where we live.

So the one of the biggest Arlington honks is a Houstonian? What is the world coming to?RetiredAg said:Farmer1906 said:I can't tell if you're an insensitive ****** or just dumb as a ****ing rock.RetiredAg said:irish pete ag06 said:

I live basically in downtown Houston. We have amazing drainage where we are and were able to avoid flooding.

Ken Rosenthal represents "public opinion?" Good to know.

I don't think the winner or loser matters all that much in this story. Most will just forget about it except for the 2 fan bases.irish pete ag06 said:agent-maroon said:

So there's Ken and a few others who back your side. Too bad nobody cares now in the mainstream. When it was a hot story, the Rangers lost that no matter what you personally think.

You're probably right with regards to the average person. The average person also chose to pick between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Most were driven by emotion and since Reid crying to the media allowed him to frame the story, it's not a surprise. As cooler heads prevailed, you've seen more and more understand the Rangers perspective.

And you can go back and read where I've said I understood the logic of the Rangers position. However logic is overruled by emotion, a lot.
Do you fault the Rangers for making a logical decision instead of one driven by emotion?irish pete ag06 said:RetiredAg said:irish pete ag06 said:agent-maroon said:

It's going to be so wonderful when the astros crash and burn inJune,July, the second half, the division series. The fluke season will be wasted and the tears of astros fans will be very salty.

So this years Rangers team is extremely less lucky/fortunate than last years?
I kind of hope they never change. Baseball wouldn't be the same without them constantly calling for earhole pitches and DFA's every time one of their starters strikes out or makes an error.gigem1223 said:
Astros fans are so cute. Hope they enjoy their first AL West title. Maybe next year they'll act like they've been there before.
That's rich coming from a Rangers fan... Who've called for the injury, death, and actual murder of one of their own players.agent-maroon said:I kind of hope they never change. Ranger fans that ignore the fact that that the Astros have won a number of division titles before being forced to move to the AL in 2013 are either naval gazers or have no concept of baseball history.gigem1223 said:
