Send me 100 now and I'll send you 200 if they make the playoffs.

You know that Gregerson isn't our closer anymore, right? And he didn't pitch tonight. That was Giles.

Won't be postponed due to wild card standing; probably be played in ArlingtonMSFC Aggie said:
Astro fan or not, you guys are still Aggies. Hoping you guys in Houston stay safe from the flooding. Looks like it's only going to get worse.
Gotta think the upcoming series will get postponed.

And all revenue would have gone to Astros I believe.Ags #1 said:
Daniels said Rangers offered to put on games this week as visiting club; but declined to swap home & home series.P

Exactly. Instead of doing us a solid in a pretty crappy situation they went for the money grab. Instead our guys are flying all the way to Florida in a move that makes no sense logistically.
Pretty shltty move if you ask me.

It would have been virtually impossible to promote and sell tickets to the games if the series is played here in Arlington this short of notice. If you swap home and home, you're giving the Astros a month in advance to promote and sell tickets. Not exactly a fair swap financially. I'm not discounting the ****ty situation in Houston right now, but seems like it was the most fair solution to both clubs.
Also, the Rangers will be donating money to the relief effort in Houston after the Angels series this weekend.

Rangers fans will be donating, seen nothing about the trash Rangers organization

Yes. The Texas Rangers organization is dumping dozens of inches of rain on the city of Houston. Jon Daniels could have stopped the rain but he chose not to.gambochaman said:
screw the rangers and anyone defending this
the city is drowning and the rangers just shoved it under the water

No it wouldn't. It wouldn't be the normal crowd but anyways, hope the Rangers enjoy paying to fly and put up a major league roster for 3 days on short notice on the Florida coast leading up to Labor Day weekend.
