I ordered 3 chronicle front covers the day after the win. I FINALLY received a shipping notification on Tuesday. It was my first piece of communication from them since the order confirmation, and that includes them not responding to a help email I sent 2 weeks ago.

It's been 2 days since I got the shipping notification, and the USPS tracking still says they have not been given the package by the chronicle.

So I received both of my SI orders weeks ago. Saw today that I had a charge from them hit my card. Went back through all of my charges to November 1 and nothing every posted from them. This is the first and only so far. Anyone else experience this?

Watching game 7 of the WS, that pitch that Morton struck out Itley on the bottom of the ninth, might be the most beautiful pitch of the playoffs. I think in that moment the Astros knew they won, Utleys face is total rejection. Morton was dealing. I still can't get over the fact we won the WS, and that i am drunk.

P.S. my first cousin just got called up to the Rangers, Jose Trevino, i love him. But if i had my choice of his success or the Astros winning a second championship, i would pick the Astros today and twice on Sunday!!!!!!

I was waiting in an office yesterday and they had an issue of ESPN magazine laying on a table. It was published at the end of the regular season (had a nice article about the Astros dealing with Hurricane Harvey).

There was an article handicapping the playoffs. It gave Cleveland a 47% chance of winning it all, the Dodgers were given a 13% chance and then came the Astros at 11%.

The story on the Astros said they had the highest team OPS (or maybe it was OPS+) in 50 years. So I did a search on the best offensive baseball teams in history and came up with lots or results, but nothing that's been updated since the end of the 2017 season.

I think I remember reading, before the Astros hit the August slump, that at the time they had an OPS+ that would put them behind only the 1939 Yankees all-time. Does anyone know how they ended up?

I get that the chronicle was probably overwhelmed initially with the amount of orders they received, but they have literally had a month and a half to get their crap together. Whoever is in charge of this sucks at their job.
