Sure picked up a ton of wagon-hoppers since the start of the season. I know that's a sign my team is awesome. However I get annoyed when I see people who had been fans for 2 weeks and got to go to a World Series game.

(And then leave it early because it was getting late)

Shelia Jackson Lee showed up in The 3rd inning of game 4, sat right behind me, and left in the middle of the 9th, but I knew she was a POS way before last Saturday.

It brought me great pleasure to stand right in front of her 90% of the game.

Yet she got more podium time than Altuve at the celebration.

Such a classy move. MLB's product off the field this post season was just as good as what was on it.

Even when there was an issue, thinking specifically of the Yuli incident, Yu's response was reasonable if not understanding, and relative to how that would've gone over in other leagues, quite admirable. Equally impressive was Yuli looking him in the eye the next time he was on the mound and tipping his hat.

MLB scored a heck of a lot of points with a lot people
by simply behaving the way adults are expected to behave, and by not allowing the ball park to become a platform for political messages. No one was shoveling the flavor of the month crap down anyone's throat, they were busy playing ball.

Even though the SNL episode sucked we have been on Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, Disney World Parade, and SNL in a span of just a few days. Let the world know who took home that trophy this year mother ******

Getting the Bryant and Rizzo treatment like last year.

Wonder if Beltran will go on dancing with the stars.

That's a nice gesture from the Dodgers. If only they showed that much class during the WS. The bush league actions of repeatedly delaying our batting practice and playing sentimental music for us was a little disappointing coming from one of baseball's storied franchises. Then there was Rich Hill's actions, which I think warrant at minimum, a fine. I don't agree with using the game to show your displeasure with the league's handling of a situation. Tack on Puig and Jansen's comments and the Dodgers just didn't exude a whole lot of class. I don't mind the excitement and celebrations during the game, but that other stuff just doesn't sit well with me.

Exactly. We go back a long way. No love lost between us and LA

Hill is a puss for thinking he was doing something brave, but doesn't deserve a fine for stepping off the mound more than necessary. Puig, besides his on- field antics, had a great response to Correa's bat flip in Game 2, when every dodgers fan in existence was flying off the handle about it. Jansen's comments were dumb and lit a fire under the Astros, but I wouldn't call it classless.

I was looking at world series appearances by franchise and wow....the dodgers historically suck on the biggest stage.

They've made 19 appearances but have only won 6 titles. That's 6-13.

The only other team close to that level of futility (that has won a title) is the Giants, but with their performance in the past decade they've straightened it out to 20 appearances and 8 titles for an 8-12 record.

And the cubs suck too. 11 pennants to 3 titles

The best part of this is that they told everyone who would listen that the Astros wouldn't stand a chance in a game 7. Welp.

True, but unlike the NFL, MLB has such a small percentage of African American players that you just won't see that type of protest. I say this not to take a side, just that the MLB is fairly immune to what is going on with the NFL.

Watching the game 2 replay right now on the MLB network. I'm tense and keep thinking something different will happen! Dodgers just tied it in the 10th. Giles!!!!!

Its so fun rewatching the games without the stress. I forgot so much like McCain's multiple big atbats. And Giles getting some big outs. But best of all I can fast forward Reddicks at bats.

I re-watched the end of game 2 earlier and Puig definitely struck out twice. Once on the "check swing" and then the final pitch.
