He was throwing some incredibly good pitches to the Red Sox. When he can command the FB like that and get his hammer working he's pretty damn good.

So we think the plan is

1 - DK
2 - JV
3 - CM
4 - McHugh but if you get through the first three without having to use Peacock, then maybe he's the fourth game instead of McHugh?

That seems about right, I think the plan is not needing any long relief in game 1 or 2 and then it's some combo of McHugh / McCullers / Peacock to come in if Morton struggles. Whoever is left starts Game 4

I guess moderately surprised that McCullers won't be in the bullpen. I can't really envision a scenario where Peacock and McCullers would be used in the same game, but still it's not like McCullers is going to start a game this series I wouldn't think.

The difference between BOS and NY is that I think Red Sox fans are pretty annoying but overall they're a knowledgeable bunch and it's what I consider a pretty good baseball town.

NY fans are just obnoxious and dumb. They're fans of the Yankees because they're the Yankees and haven't the slightest clue about baseball in general, much less the team they root for.

My rotation would be DK / JV / LMJ / McHugh or Morton.

Peacock / Musgrove as long relievers

If McHugh is not starting I wouldn't use him at all, I don't think his stuff will translate to the bullpen well.

I love how some of the Yankees' playoff performances get them the nod, but then comes right field where Judge still gets the nod, despite the worst series of all time.

That article is THE MOST ridiculous one I've ever seen. The only two positions that a reasonable person could argue is Judge and Sanchez. Every other spot is clearly favored for Astros. Then again, what do you expect from a NY Times writer?

Edit: I realize it's Daily not NY Times. My bad. Just seemed like a NYT shaded article

1) How would one know that? It's the postseason they're not gonna put a 50 pitch cap on him.
2) He looked great in ALDS.
3) When fully healthy, he has best stuff on the team..
4) Peacock and Morton are usually only good for 3 or 4 clean innings too.

Honestly, I'm perfectly okay with letting them think Gregarious is better than Correa or Bird is better than Gurriel. They'll just eat crow and it'll make it even sweeter
