Hinch said he plans on continuing to get the starters their ABs and sub in the AAA guys 5 or 6 innings in. Don't want rust going into the ALDS.

Wow, this article illustrates what a crazy season this year has been. To me, the most amazing stat discussed is that Kimbrel has allowed the highest exit velocity this year but has the 5th lowest WHIP of all time.

Boston has to walk a fine line. They can't go AAA like the Rangers because they still need to win. But they can't leave guys who are possible starters next week sitting out there getting hammered either.

If the Yankees keep winning they have to keep winning. I'm assuming they don't want to play that wildcard play in game. Hopefully Sale has to pitch Sunday or the play in game.

I know it's really windy there tonight and that was obviously a tough play, but Carlos always has a really hard time tracking pop-ups in to the shallow outfield for some reason.

And yes, that was Maybin's ball still
