But just was hoping Dallas wouldn't have the walks like he has tonight. Most of the hits have been a bit of luck mixed in.

Where are you seeing this? The only thing I've seen is an article saying they won't start him against the Red Sox (both to give him some rest and keep the Red Sox from getting a look at him right before the playoffs), but he'll still start tomorrow and next week against the Rangers.

I saw it on Channel 13 sports on 6:30 news cast. maybe I didn't hear it correctly

I'll add Correa to that list. Our 3 MVP-caliber players have 9 combined ABs and not a single one have made solid contact or even put the ball out of the infield for that matter

This is why I question how deep we can go in the playoffs. The offense is too inconsistent. Our ace guts out a quality start and we can only get a single run when their starter exits in the 1st inning.

They do seem to disappear at times for unknown reasons.
After Fulmer left in the bottom of the 1st, the offense should have been raking.

Eh, a walk/bloop and a blast and we're back on top. Also, just as an aside it's hard to overstate just how consistently excellent the offense has been throughout the year. They have been 26% more effective than the avg. offense. Next closest team is Cleveland (3% better than avg.)
