Hello crazy Astros thread members --
I am reviewing the moderation of this thread. It clearly went sideways at some point. I made the staff edit on the OP, a while back. I can give you some justification as to why we need this thread to stay civilized.
I received multiple e-mails with concerns about the thread devolving into pages of .gifs of bikini (or bikini-less, as the case may be) girls. We can't have that and here is why:
folks like to view this thread while at work.
I know TexAgs.com has been hurting office productivity for more than a decade, but if we get too much of that stuff, folks don't want to open it at the office. Now, if our moderators were too heavy handed in enforcing this, as seems to be the complaint, then we apologize. They were trying to clamp down on this to keep the thread ASTROS related more than ....you know....other stuff related.
An occasional .gif. A girl in a swimsuit. Not a big deal. But we do have to clean up the other stuff or thin it out to keep the thread work-safe.
Please do e-mail the moderator if you have any further questions. I know: tl;dr.
Gig 'em!
