Kid is 22 but needs to make that play. Potential Franchise player needs to make those plays. That is a routine play in the league, every time.

Ump needs to make Fiers pitch quicker. It would actually help him get into a better groove. What is the damn point of pacing around between every single pitch?

That 88 mph Fiers heat may not even scare anyone. Better having McCann ear hole then throwing it back.

I've never liked his body language at the mound. He acts as if he is depressed coming off the mound. Doesn't appear to be confident.

Not even close. He's actually been a decent fifth starter the past two seasons. His biggest problems are high pitch counts and inconsistency. He'll reel off several quality starts, and then produce a couple of absolutely atrocious starts. Those are the starts people remember.

But we'd be a better team with McHugh in the rotation and Fiers working in relief.

We don't need him in relief when McHugh comes back. His only use for me would be a long guy, but we already have devo and Feliz for that.

Bases loaded strike outs should lead to automatic benching. I'm so tired of lack of execution in the easiest type of at bat you can get.
