For the Yanks, Aaron Hicks (.266/.372/.475, 127 wRC+) has taken over the regular job from Jacoby Ellsbury, and he had a pretty fantastic season himself
So Hicks and Reddick basically have identical numbers, with Reddick probably even having the edge considering he hit .314 over the whole season and was more durable than Hicks. But Hicks has a "pretty fantastic season" while Reddick has a ho-hum "good year".Quote:
so despite Josh Reddick's good year (.314/.363/.484, 127 wRC+)
I kinda like it. Makes the players try harder to 'Stick the landing"Beat40 said:
Don't you think that's a little stupid that you can call a guy out for his foot popping up off the bag where it lands right back on the bag? I mean, it was probably off less than a second. Always have hated that rule. Would have never been called out without replay.
I saw some people using Parking Panda. I've never used it in Houston, but used it quite a bit in Baltimore and it was pretty solidthird coast.. said:

I didn't...still wondering if they brought McHugh on and dropped WhiteAg_07 said:
Did we ever see an ALCS 25-man roster?
Don't know about Stro games, but for Dynamo games, the car parking money takers have taken over the majority of spots around 8th wonder, so you are supposed to pay I guess but they don't give you anything to put on your car. I've waited for them not to be looking and parked and nothing happened.third coast.. said:
Whats up with that 8th wonder truck everyone always talks about. They dgaf if you park there as long as you go in and have a beer or something?

Do players not on the roster still travel? Sparky was saying Fiers was wetting him with Budweiser.

The only thing about Parking Panda is that all they had available were parking garages.
I'm not a big fan of garages downtown. Too easy for someone to mess with your shlt since everything is hidden from plain view and there's only one exit from those things and it ends up taking FOREVER to get out.
If I could've found a surface lot I would've pulled the trigger.

For decades they trusted the umpire's call on a play like this. I understand that now we have the technology to check the bang-bang plays. But the reason for instituting replay was definitely not to hone in on the slightest minuscule instance of a foot or hand or torso elevating off the bag. This has to change.

house of blues for 17 bucks seems like a steal..
not a bad walk and getting out of there would be much easier
