4 years is too long. In my uneducated opinion, it's hard to maintain momentum built up over that period of time. This tournament has been awesome. You can't slack off with Yadi behind the plate. He routinely does that throwdown to first if he sees that.
That throw from the Puerto Rican first baseman looked like someone trying to throw with their opposite hand.

The MLB teams wanted their pitchers to stay on their regular 5 day rotations. He would have had to delay a couple of days. Roark and Stroman (should we advance) are on that rotation. Leaving Archer at home allowed them to bring up Marc Melancon from the DPP to give them more relief help in the bullpen.
