Sat next to Cole Hamels today at lunch. Did not realize how lanky he is. Ankles looked good.

The problem with Calhoun will be, if the Rangers make the WC, he won't be eligible.
Our playoff success is stuck with Nap.
I don't recall how that works, for injury replacement.free_mhayden said:DallasAg 94 said:

If Texas makes the playoffs, and Calhoun hits well enough to deserve to be on the playoff roster, Texas will call him up to the playoff roster as an injury replacement.
4 game series at Yankee Stadium while I'll be living in NYC for training.AccidentProne said:

How is the sun in LF, this time of year?jtstanley4621 said:
Looking forward to seeing what Calhoun can do. Kinda surprised he's in LF, but I guess that makes sense with Mazara being a little banged up.

Regardless... don't they have to be on the 40, on Sept 1, in order to be eligible for the playoffs?
Be interesting to see what he can do. Newberg had a good point in an email a while back that if Calhoun is brought up it is because the Rangers think he can help in the wild card race. He isn't rule 5 eligible so wouldn't have to go on the 40 this offseason so bringing him up (I think) means one more of our guys will be exposed to the rule 5 draft.MSFC Aggie said:
