Very sorry for your loss. My grandmother was a HUGE fan as well. She was old school though, we listened on the radio over the summer since that is how she followed baseball as a kid. Those memories are as vivid today as the games were 35 years ago.

If I were an Indians fan I might actually be a little bit nervous. They're really good, but you don't want to get all of your good play out of the way right now. The law of baseball averages would seemingly dictate that some kind of slump is coming for them.

Nah i don't think we're making the playoffs. Injuries have piled up and I just don't think we're pitching well enough. It's a shame but it is what it is at this point

The way this is going, it'll come down to the last game of the season "if" we get one of the WC spots. Probably won't have the luxury of stacking our rotation for the playoffs. Will be scratching and clawing just to make it there.

I'm absolutely amazed we even have a shot, given the start, and then the injuries. Traded Darvish. Main reason we have a shot is because there are quite a few teams hovering around, but no one is getting on a roll and with all the head to head games it's hard for anyone to get much separation.

No doubt we have a shot because of how mediocre the AL Wildcard is this year. If this was 2016, we'd be 7 games back of WC2 right now.

At least we will have a better idea in what we have in Calhoun against MLB pitching to help make off-season decisions. He finished the AAA season on a roll, so hopefully he can keep it up and earn a spot on the 25 for next season.

Tyson Ross... please step on down? He is likely an option, as any. With Diekman and Bush coming back, I can't imagine why we'd keep him.

Interesting no mention of Profar. I know it likely has to do with time served, he has been playing IF, but still. With Odor ailing, we could use another MID. Especially if Gallo is gimpy requiring someone at 1st... like Rua or Ribinson.

It's about service time with him and Texas believes giving up one more year of control isn't worth giving him yet another shot for a few weeks.

I think you are right. I guess he voiced too much displeasure about being stuck behind Elvis/Odor and will get moved in the offseason someplace. I think I'd take Profar over Odor right now, except that we can't do that with all the money owed to Odor.

He hasn't shown it quite yet, but I feel like once profar gets regular playing time in the INF at the MLB, he'll be good. I really hope that Odor can rebound from this year's performance, because it would indeed suck if he continues to play the way he has and Profar plays well.

Also, I would put Calhoun in the lineup tonight. I feel like there's no real reason not to. It'd allow you to bench Napoli, providing you go Robinson in the OF and Middlebrooks at 3rd. I'd be totally fine with that. It's not like Calhoun could do much worse than Napoli.
