We may have something in Rick Rod.

Member 2 years ago we all were ready to ride Elvis out of town? Now look at him. Any chance Odor can do the same? He's gotta stop trying to hit it out of the park every time.

We've seen this before. Save some for tomorrow boys.
I would have pay to get stars so I could research. As far as I recall, up until about mid-season, when we were talking about selling off players, the consensus by most on here was the contract was an anchor that would keep Elvis with the Rangers unless we ate most of it.MSFC Aggie said:
Up until about 2 months into this season, people were denigrating Andrus.
Huh? I thought Elvis got off the **** list last year?
Let's agree that we shouldn't trade him now, and move on.MSFC Aggie said:
I'm not going back to look either, but I thought the consensus was to keep Elvis and Nomar and get rid of everyone else.
Anyone with half of a brain knows that Reid Ryan is a vindictive moron who tried to use a freaking natural disaster to con the Rangers into taking a bad deal.Lucky #007 said:
And their consensus is that he should shut up. That literally only became an issue at all because Reid Ryan decided to drag the Rangers through the mud like an asshat. All he had to do was say no and move on to whatever else worked, but nope, got to make sure he goes at the Rangers in all likelihood because his dad hates Jon Daniels. I don't believe for a second his motives weren't personal.
Unfortunately, no.AccidentProne said:
Anybody going to the game tomorrow?
I'll be presenting the season ticket holder of the game
They were trying to keep the Rangers from the WC, and Reid so much as said so.grapespda2525 said:Anyone with half of a brain knows that Reid Ryan is a vindictive moron who tried to use a freaking natural disaster to con the Rangers into taking a bad deal.Lucky #007 said:

The Astros didn't even need to do it either. They already have the AL west all but wrapped up, along with probably hosting a first round playoff series.
We'll know after the season. The fact they went 1-2 in Tampa against the Rangers should further be a smack to the organization. Who would want to play for them. When your 1st Rd pick (Brady Aiken) gets screwed around, you know there are problems.dave94 said:
I think even the 'Stros fans know he was stupid for what he did. But will never admit it.
