First weekend off in awhile, thus I got to sit down and watch some college ball. It's so much more refreshing to watch than the Rangers right now. Just so much better baseball all the way around.

I think that was maybe supposed to be a hit and run, but my god Elvis, 2 outs on the basepath so far today....
Also that was ball 4 that Gomez swung at. I'm going to assume that it was a hit and run because of that, but of course it could have just been terrible plate discipline.

Hit and runs aren't put on telling a guy he has to swing at ball four. That's plate discipline.

Also the Andrus outs on the basepaths are because when he reached base the first time today Raymond went on to say that he had some of the best base running instincts in the league. The baseball gods are a cruel and vengeful bunch.
Odor panicked and swung through the high fastball, because of course. 1 run with the bases loaded and no outs hurts. Deshields is the only guy that did his job.

The opposing strategy against our bullpen should literally just be never swing. They will walk you eventually.

Why do we always make pitching changes after the pitcher walks in a run and not after the pitcher walks the bases loaded?
leclercs off speed stuff was accurate, but when the guy doesnt have to swing at it cuz the catcher is calling for the fast ball he cant throw for strikes, it doesnt matter
This is like watching a pre-Maddux staff. If nothing else, he generally instilled confidence in them and their stuff in order to get them to challenge hitters
Did we just all the sudden become completely incapable of throwing strikes???
