To heck with the platoon. He needs everyday at bats and he's playing well enough to play everyday IMO.

I agree, actually. Don't think Deshields or Rua even have a hit yet. Let Profar be the utility infielder

At this rate, I keep him up and in the lineup. They are at a crossroads with him. We're seeing him re-engage mentally and show some signs of life and progress. Send him down again or gut his PT, and I think that is writing him off for good. He's going check out and you'll get jack for him. And it's not like the alternatives are enticing.

It seems he's more confident with every at bat. Even when he strikes out, he makes the at bat competitive instead of looking overmatched like he did last year. Really like what I'm seeing from Gallo

Yeah, I don't tend to care a great deal about the difference between 1st and 2nd. If a guy is slashing and flexing a little power lately, may as well give him one extra chance where maybe someone is on base. He's still gonna get the chance to be on before your 3-4-5 guys in either spot.

Yeah Gallo has at a minimum earned the right to play LF when Beltre comes back. He's done far more than Rua or Profar this season and deserves the ABs for sure
