Brewers called up Brinson. He's their No. 1 prospect
He has turned it on. I seem to recall looking at his numbers last month and wasn't real impressed (unless I'm thinking of someone else the Rangers traded).Huell Babineaux said:

It would be nice, but I still contend one or both would have been lost to Rule V. Milw can stash them, as Philly did with Odubel Herrera.jtstanley4621 said:
Him plus Ortiz would be nice to have sitting in the minors. But at the time I don't think anyone wouldn't have done that trade. Good luck to them both.

Over/under on the number of strikeouts Scherzer gets today?
He really has. I didn't have high expectations but he's been pretty solid for what he is.AccidentProne said:
Minus that first batter, ABD has looked good today
I'm not a fan of rewriting narratives. He was absolutely someone we were counting on being a player for us in the very near future, and had been aware of for a while.DallasAg 94 said:He has turned it on. However his .312, 6 HR, 7 SB and .397 OBP is getting it done.
Keep in mind when the Rangers traded him, he was Rule V eligible in the offseason, and at 23, he had some more work to do in the minors. Some of the players the Rangers have traded away the past 3-4 years have been depth that couldn't be protected on the 40. Prince Fielder, et al, DL players count on the 40, during the offseason, as there is no DL60.
The ultimate back-handed compliment. My grandmother was a Pro at back-handed compliments. She could turn anything positive into a deep personal dig.Lucky #007 said:

between giving up Mendez\Ortiz\Profar\Gallo, or giving up a next tier guy, or some soon to be Rule V guys, like Brinson. At this point, I'd be looking at bringing
