I think it's more to do with his patient approach and getting better pitches to hit rather than roids.

I don't know how much a patient approach helps a 5'5" player push HRs easily to right field.

I'm not saying he's definitely on roids. Who knows, maybe he got his powerlifting game on during the offseason. But if I were in charge of the MLB PED testing, he'd get "randomly" tested for sure.

Truthfact: my BIL saw him working out once in a 24 hour fitness in Pasadena in the offseason.
