Fister has been exactly what we needed him to be when he signed. A solid, consistent back end rotation guy.

Unfortunately, we didn't expect him to be one of the best pitchers on the staff.

I think 7-3 wouldn't be all that bad. Not trying to argue but that puts you at 15-20 and all of a sudden you are in striking distance of a very average division. The problem facing us going forward is that we need to win the division because it's unlikely the wildcard will come from the west.

I would feel good about 7-3 and being 5 games under .500 at the end of this homestand.

Our division is a steaming pile that someone has to win. Why can't it be us??

I should be a starting QB in the nfl with the kind of height, frame, and intellect I have. Yet nobody wants to draft me.
