Sorry it ended in such a disappointing manner, but I never thought this team would do much in the playoffs. Team as a whole has been inconsistent, and Hamels and Yu really struggled down the stretch.

Much like A&M vs. TCU in the super regionals, the last thing this team needed was a rematch involving revenge storylines. When you're the favorite you want business as usual, not stupid distractions involving bat flips and punches.

There are some real bleeding vaginas on this thread that haven't been here all season.

Tune into the regular season next year so you can gain some perspective.

Hopefully this off season consists on getting back end rotation help, a first baseman who can at leasthe hit in the .270's, trading Choo for an everyday player (I don't care who) and getting a true closer.

Two years in a row where our defense has killed us in an elimination game. Odor has to get better in the field.
