The Twins have such a spare lineup, and they've absolutely rocked us this year.
I hope this quiets any doubters who didn't think a starting pitcher was far and away our biggest need by the trade deadline. You roll with Hamels, Perez, Griffin, a questionable durability Darvish and a spare in the 5 slot and we will manage to lose this division.
Can the A's do it again? ......I'm watching that over us right now.

Cut the lead to 4 and you bring in Ramos for the 7th? When your BP is about to have 4 days off, why not barnette, bush or Diekman?

I don't think you'll find anyone who will argue sp is badly needed, but we also greatly need to add some depth in the BP, if not find a bonafide closer. Ramos/ Claudio/ LeClerc/ Jackson shouldn't be on an mlb roster.

This team SUCKS!
At least the weaknesses of this team are being shown before the deadline. I'd rather them suck ass now, than continue to be hot till after the deadline....giving us a false sense of confidence in positions that need to be improved upon.
