I fee no real confidence for this upcoming twins series. Maybe being home will make a difference. It has been seriously a game and 4 innings since we've last had a 1-2-3 inning. That is unbelievable.

I spent many years without TV, listening to he and Nadel on the radio. '91 season in College Station, anxiously listening to see if Julio or Raffy would win the batting title.

2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO, 38 pitches with 22 being stikes.

A couple BBs are acceptable, IMO. 1st MLB appearance against the best hitting team in the AL, on the road.

He made ~$3100 today. I think AAA players make $2200/month. I think he earned a couple more days through the ASB. He'll make more this week, than the entire season in the minors.

He walks a lot of guys in the minor leagues, too.

Didn't entirely show to really be the immediate answer to keeping guys off the bases and having efficient innings.

Doesn't have much variety in his pitches, which MLB guys will catch onto eventually.

Doug Brocail needs to work all of next spring training on getting these guys to command pitches.

If he can't figure some of it out, I don't know why Brocail should be on the staff any longer.

He did do that.

Let us hope he can do it again with the top of the order.

Did you actually watch him pitch?!

He wasn't missing much on his balls. Mixed his pitches and I thought had a pretty good variety with nice splits.

83mph offspeed ... 93-96mph on the top end. Kept most everything low.

Got us almost 3 IP.

Because you sounded like someone who looked at the boxscore.

He got 8 outs, including 6 in a row. So I'm not sure where the other 8 players were hitting.

It was a legitimate question, regardless. I was curious if you were assessing it based on listening on the radio, watching gamecast, or watching.

I thought he had throw 3 different pitches.
