Dyson went 30 PC on Tues and it was his 3rd day of pitching.

Prior to that he topped off at 23 PC in a game.

So, I'm not surprised Dyson is rested.

Fielder switched hats with Brocail.

Never gets old.

Not sure exactly, but Fielder went to switch hats with Banny but it was too small. So, he switched with Brocail for the Post-Game interview with Emily. Not sure if he grabbed the wrong hat, didn't have a hat in the dugout, or didn't want his hat getting wet.

Anyway, he put the hat on, got it soaked and then returned it to Brocail.

Usually, the guys throw their hat and shoes off to the side, so they don't get wet, but I think Fielder wanted to wear a hat for the interview.

Pretty funny stuff.

It appears that Odor did Gomez's helmet slap on his way around third in front of the Astros dugout....

Fielder and Moreland looked very good today. Not just the HR and two doubles, but each AB looked good. Fouling off close pitches, patience and mostly line drives.

Moreland came into the game swinging at pitches shoulder high and watching them down the middle.

Man, if those guys get rolling...

Holy crap! I just re-watched that play. Andrus had perfect position on that ball, I don't see Beltre "attempting" to slide 75% of the way to 2nd base to make that play.

Would you be upset if they wanted Odor hit by a pitch?

When he hits a home run (generally resulting in a massive bat flip) Gomez rounds the bases and slaps his helmet like that when he rounds each base. Or at least he did when he did it against Hamels the other day.
