I just bought a new fitted Astros cap the other day. I've already shaped the bill but I was wondering if there was any way I could shape the crown to where it doesn't look like I'm wearing a bucket on my head? Seems like all the new fitted caps have high crowns. I know with time it eventually shapes to your head but I was just wondering if there was a way to shorten the process. Thanks in advance.

Those were the only fitted hats they had. Plus they are the nicest looking. I bought it with the hope that I could shape it.

The problem is the hats are just made different than the day you really curved the bill and the top did't stick up as much. The dimensions are different. I have a tiny curve to it and that's all you can do w/o it looking silly.

I'm pretty annoyed with the hats. I've got three, all 7 1/8. My Seahawks one is too big. My Mariners BP one I ordered smaller and was too small so got another 7 1/8 and it fits. I then got a Padres throwback and it's a bit too tight. Three hats all the same size yet all different sizes.

I would never recommend buying a 59FIFTY hat online. As the posted stated above, I've tried on the same size hat at lids (5 different hats) and they all fit differently. That being said the only way to "break" it in is to wear it IMO and believe it or not wear it when it's hot outside because when the wool gets warm it shapes to your head better.

I'm a traditionalist, I wear my baseball hats like the players do. Not like slim thug with the brim flat and sticker still on it, sorry
