My friend told me today he was turning off any game that marmol comes in. Who could blame him? They have to be using him to increase his value, but with all the times it's already cost us or almost has, they need to quit. It is pathetic to do that at the cost of losing ballgames.

So I used the Cubs own website to transfer today's tickets to my brother and the gate attendant wasn't going to let him in. They said no paper tickets are allowed. He had to argue with them & finally get a supervisor to let them in. I tried to call my ticket rep but he isn't answering the phone. What a piss poor way to run a professional organization.

Wouldn't let him in at all, or wouldn't let him in the early entrance gate?

Just got clarification that it was the early entrance gate but that still shouldn't happen. It's a season ticket whether or not it's the fancy ones sent in the mail or the paper ticket that was electronically transferred through the Cubs website.

Yeah, when you transfer from hard ticket to electronic ticket the "season ticket holder" designation comes off of the ticket (so there's no way of telling it from a regular bleacher ticket), so it's no longer early entry.

That's horse ****. There should be a simple way to show on the transferred ticket that it is a season ticket.

Cubs blow another one. After a big inning, Castro lets a ball get through his legs that would have gotten us out of the inning. Then Lillibridge doesn't make a throw to Feldman who was coming to cover first, and the inning eventually ends with 4 unearned runs. I think Feldman also forgot to cover first on a play.

Add in Takahashi being left in for too long in a 3 run inning to follow that up (Sveum didn't have anyone up in the pen until it was beyond too late, he ended up finishing out the inning) and the Cubs lose again.

I'll be glad to see Barney back. Between errors and being 1 for 19 on the season, it's painful to see Lillibridge filling in on a daily basis.

Brooks Raley had a good start in Iowa, so at least there's that. (The team still lost, 2-0).

It was beyond obvious that Fujikawa was going to fail. He has no plus pitches, throws everything at the same speed, and has no out pitch. Why is he closing? He also has the same problem with control that Marmol has.

Why is Lillibridge pinch hitting? He's got one ****ing hit on the season.

even with Kevin Gregg, I'll trade Lillibridge, Takahashi, Clevenger, and Dolis for Barney, Loe, Gregg, and Ransom... I've been pleasantly surprised with Alberto Gonzalez, but having Barney back is huge

I hope Dolis was happy with his one appearance catching the ceremonial first pitch... he looked a hell of a lot better than Navarro did!
