I'm sorry but Ed Wade is just a GM I dont care for, our pitching (or lack there of) is already lost the season before it started. Dunn has AVERAGED 40+ Dingers over past 4 seasons. Compare his stats to Mike Bourn pretty similar with the exception of 40 DINGERS and 100 RBI's bourn 5 hr and 29 rbi's. The excuse Wade uses is his defense.....We'll anyone is going to have a hard time catching the rocket balls opposing hitters are going to hit off the minor league pitching we have.....so why not add 40 bombs for entertainment purposes?

I was sad to say somewhat excited about spring training now I know what Kansas City Fans feel like every spring...hopeless

His wealth isn't all derived from the Astros. I don't claim to know his exact wealth or where he allocates it but would you put all your eggs into one basket? Also, just because an asset is considered wealth doesn't mean it is cash to spend. I would presume most of his wealth isn't liquid.

What is the infatuation with Michael Bourn?

Yes, Dunn has had problems defensively, but he makes up for it with the HRs and RBI.

I think an OF of Dunn in LF, Pence in CF, and Lee in RF would we pretty dang good. bat Dunn in front of Lee to give him some protection (something he did not have in Cincy), and I think the Ks MIGHT decline some.

What is your "opening day" line-up as of now?

I would take Dunn for a 1-year deal

Here's Bourn's numbers thru 594 major league at bats:

.237 batting average
.299 on-base percentage

And he's already 26 years old. I've seen enough

vs. Josh Anderson who we basicly gave away who hit .294, .338 OBP, .426 SLG. I'm not saying Anderson is an All-Star, but you traded away alot to get Bourn when you already had the same player (and maybe better) already on the roster.

Carlos is way way to slowww to play right. He is adequate at best in left with the small confines due to Crawford boxes.

I am not a big fan of Dunn as he strikes out too much(166 last year, 6th in all of baseball.) But so does Ryan Howard.. With Minute Maid set up the way it is, I think he would find success. The Astros could use his bat now Tejada's status is up in the air..

Dunn is perfect for the DH role on a team that needs some pop. Not sure I'd take him if I am the 'stros
