Yeah, hunting players is definitely a thing. No one said otherwise.
Castle and Harper are also two of the best in the entire league at navigating ball screens on the perimeter. Isolating off them will take a lot of work for other teams.
Basically every team has someone they can exploit. Barnes and Keldon both have more defensive weaknesses than most of the rest of the players, but I don't think either is going to get close to played out of the game. Both are still useful rotation pieces. Barnes brings a lot of intangibles (and experience) that most other players don't have.
And I think we will see the Spurs exploit our superior depth to keep players fresh rather than tightening everything up significantly like most teams do. We did that in 2014 when we played 9 players 15+ mpg and no one over Duncan's 32.7mpg in the playoffs.
Our team this year is similar - we have 9 players over 20mpg plus Carter Bryant. Barnes will continue to lose minutes, but I think he still gets around 15-20mpg. Last 13 games, Barnes was shooting 47/44 in 23mpg. As long as he is shooting >40%, he's getting minutes.

). I think we are in a position where we can draft for fit now. Are there any promising centers or power forwards expected to be around late lottery?
