Lots of time until the draft, but almost every mock and talking head has taking Dillingham at 4, unless they have him going higher. But if he's there, the consensus seems to be that's who the Spurs take. Sure, he could very well be Lou Williams 2.0, but I just don't see Brian Wright going there considering his recent track record for drafting length. I would rather they take a swing on Buzelis at 4. I think his upside is worth the risk. Could they still get Castle at 8? Or go with Reed Shepard there?

Yeah those Dilly measurements sure make me question it a little bit. 164 pounds? Sheesh.

I think Castle could still be there but you run the risk of a team jumping the spurs to take him. Utah for instance could use Castle big time and they have a lot of draft capital to move up if they wanted to. I'm of the opinion we take risacher or castle with 4. Then whoever falls to 8 like a knecht/sheppard/mccain shooter.

Lowe said love for Risacher is all over the map. One person said they can't believe he's at the top of all these boards. Another guy told Lowe he was going to be good and would be a good pairing with Wemby and the spurs might package 4 and 8 to move up to draft him.

I am skeptical of Risacher but the Spurs and Wembanyama know him better than anyone so I'll trust their judgement on that one, I suppose.

Yeah I mean I am still a fan of Knecht. I definitely think he's capable of being more than "McDermott 2.0". Saying that, his ceiling probably isn't as high as some of these other guys. Saying that, if the Spurs take a big risk at 4 and can get a higher floor guy like him at 8 it might be a good strategy.

Agreed. If we grab him 8, wouldn't be upset.

I'm not going to be thrilled if we end up with Dilly/Knecht or Topic/Knecht.
