It was disheartening to watch the Los Angeles Lakers dominate the defending champion Golden State Warriors from start to finish in the Western Conference Semifinals Game 6 122-101 to defeat the Warriors 4-2. As a result, the Warriors lost a playoff series before the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014.

1. Because the Warriors lost all 3 road playoff games to the Lakers, their NBA record of 28 consecutive playoff series with at least road playoff win ends.

2. After going 19-0 in playoff series before the NBA finals, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr loses before the NBA Finals for the first time ever.

3. The Warriors have lost 9 consecutive games at crypto.com arena, 3 to the Clippers and 6 (3 regular season and 3 playoff) to the Lakers, dating back to a 119-114 loss to the Clippers on 2/14/22. The Warriors have not won at that arena since a 105-90 win over the Clippers on 11/28/21 and have not beaten the Lakers there since a 121-114 win on 10/19/21.

4. The 8th seeded Miami Heat and the 7th seed Los Angeles Lakers advanced all the way from the NBA play-in tournament to the Eastern and Western Conference Finals respectively.

Glad the warriors lost. Just plain sick of them. Heck of a run for them the last 10 years or so tho. I can't stand how dirty and lame draymond is.

Probably would like to see Denver or Philly win it at this point.
