Yeah, and one thing thats tough about these back to back games against the same team is that if you put a beatdown on them the first game there's a good chance they're going to come back in G2 with a little something extra.

Just ugly all around. Shots not falling, turnovers, giving up easy looks, refs calling a s*** game. No Wall. Perfect storm.

I guess it all depends on what you can get for him. I heard on the radio Dallas's first rounder this year + NYK 1st rounder next year + Quickley. I'd do that in a heartbeat just for the picks.

That would be a sweet haul. It was rumored when he first came here the Heat were his preferred destination. They could use a lifeline at 7-14.
Picks don't mean much for teams that project to be decent/good but hopefully get lucky on them.
If not planning on locking Oladipo down might as well move him for something.
This rockets team isn't winning a championship for a few years so might as well stack assets.

Between the "gut feelings" takes and the heads up the ass of advanced stats takes around here some of you guys forget that averaging 20-5-5 is still worth a lot regardless of being a bit inefficient simply because not a lot of guys can give you 33 minutes of basketball at that level every night...and he's doing that while still working his way up to 100%.
He's still easily a top 50 player in the NBA and can definitely be the 3rd best guy on a championship team. There are teams with cap room that are one Oladipo away from being legit contenders. They'll give something good up for him, even if only for the rest of the season, but especially if they think he'll stay.

That Rockets 2021 pick value has fluctuated a lot since the end of last season.
The Mavs opened the season with the 8th best odds to win a championship and now Porzingis sucks and Luka Donuts is crying like an infant every night and as much as I like this scrappy Rockets team, we are not going to win a championship with this roster and I might like to trade Oladipo for that Mavs pick and bet against them...and the Knicks always find a way to suck and I'd love to have any of their upcoming first rounders. I think either first round pick plus one of their good young guys like Quickley or as long as we are stockpiling UK guys, Kevin Knox that they have given up on a little but can really play.
Might be wishful thinking but I would love to send Dipo to Miami for a package that brings back Herro and Precious. Rooting for Miami to keep losing and get desperate.

I'm thinking the best return for Oladipo is to package him with Tucker. Perhaps they trade to the 76ers for Thybulle and some picks.
Miami is in a weird spot. It is fairly obvious they aren't one of the Top 4 teams in the conference. I don't think a single player will make them. They may become sellers now.

My other thought was mixing in Tucker to the deal and taking back Olynyk's 12 mill expiring. Not sure if it moves the needle enough but the Heat are definitely struggling and need to shake things up a bit. I do think there's a very good chance that whatever we end up with the way Stone is flipping assets is going to be much better than anything we could've gotten for Harden straight up.
Cousins also needs to go. He can still help somebody, especially if he plays his way into shape, but he looks 45 years old out there and is not going to contribute to anything long-term for this franchise.
