Luckily the injury wasn't too bad and they think he might be ready for the next game.

Pj is probably our second most valuable player. You can't measure his impact by box score stats. He could be 0-3 in 42 minutes and still be one of the best players on the floor. His defensive intensity, leadership and toughness are the backbone of any true success the Rockets can have. We can survive a regular season game or 2 without him, but we would get swept in the playoffs without him.

But there is no substantial evidence to say that had they not cheated, they wouldn't have won the title.

Line didn't even move when it was announced he was sitting. Our offensive numbers with him on the court are worse than when he's not playing.

What he adds is the THREAT of a corner three. Literally all our offense needs is someone who will force the weak side defender to stay out of the paint so James can drive or so we can run the PnR.

PJ took one FG attempt. He's not hurting the Rockets by playing solid D and rebounding. I watched the game and his man didn't shade off him when he was in the corner.

House on the other hand is struggling. Watching him drive the lane with the Euro step is painful, and his only basket was an emergency finger roll when he didn't have enough elevation to dunk.

This team looks old, undisciplined, and terrible at defense. Our wing players are flat out bad right now. I don't think this gets fixed this year. I hope I'm wrong because there is no plan B with our contracts, cap situation, and lack of draft picks in the coming years. I'm officially worried.


Oh, and Chris Paul has the second worst contract in the league. However, I'm definitely worried about EG and Westbrook's contracts a couple years from now.
