Let them go on a 24-0 run down the stretch too

While the 24-0 run last night was a little embarrassing it doesn't really matter. It is the NBA, every team goes on a run at some point and we ended up taking care of business.

We don't look like a top line contender at the moment but that doesn't mean we can't become one as Russ gets more comfortable, we get healthy, and Morey manipulates the lineup.

Gotta keep remembering that it didn't start coming together in CP3's first year until like February.

CP3 didn't insist on taking bad shots at low conversion rate

I thought that team was pretty good from the start. Maybe has a rough patch of early games but was pretty solid early on.

I think you are right. That was the 65 win team that had one week long rough stretch in December. Russ is a different player though and it will take him a while to get comfortable playing for Mike.

I mean the Cavs were hitting some ridiculous shots last night. Don't know how many times PJ or Capela had a hand right in the face and they were draining threes. It will be like that sometimes, especially against a bad team with nothing to lose. We have got to stop letting teams shoot wide open shots though. Dantoni had a great post-game presser. Basically said what we were all thinking. Don't wait until the 4th quarter when you blow a lead to play tight defense. Do it the whole damn time.

On Russ, I get the criticism, but he has been a spark plug lately getting us going to start games. He just needs to tweak the whole taking bad shots and feeding Capela in the post thing. I was wondering the other night how long it will take him to step away from the mindset he had in OKC where he had to be THE GUY pretty much every night.

Shump didn't show a whole lot while here last year. If he is cheap and there is no better option than fine but I would like to see Morey try to get somebody else first.
