At least we're defending well now. When we had bad offensive performances last year we still won because we were able to get stops.

Harden played great defense, especially considering he had 5 fouls all the 4th quarter and then some. He didn't shoot well he made some bad passes out of double teams but he played really hard.

At least we defended well

If we can finish the season at full health and get our established rotation playing well together....I might start getting excited about our chances.

At the start of last nights broadcast, Ackerman was talking about how "professionalism" was going to be a key to the game. He basically stated that the Mavs had every reason to lose and the Rockets the opposite, so it might get out of hand. That realization took a bit of the joy out of the game. That being said, the Mavs actually played like they desperately wanted to win! They even sent Luka back out with an injured knee to try to finish the game. It was clear that game meant way more to the Mavs than we originally thought. Obviously, that made the game way closer and much more stressful; however, it also made it so much sweeter when the Rockets actually won. Thanks for caring Mavs.
