Looking at the box score this morning...Capela only played 23 minutes. Very interesting.
Draymond is a really bad match up for him. He can really bully tall skinny players. He gets up under them and just shoves them around.

PJ Tucker got 44 minutes and I doubt there is a human on this planet that can bully him. He slammed the door on every GS possession down the stretch. The one consistency in the Play-by-Play is "PJ Tucker defensive rebound".

From what I could tell, and I havent looked at it since last night, Klay was trying to free up Curry by keeping Harden held away, but on the replay it looked like Harden had his arm around the back of Klay's neck. I was pissed watching it live, especially after the call on CP3 when he was shoved by Livingston into Draymond, but on replay it seemed like a no call.

Golden State also switch on defense better than anyone in the league thanks to their personnel. Those lobs and rolls to the rim that are there for Capela against literally any other team in the NBA aren't there against the Warriors.

And as stated, Draymond is the reason for that. He's the best defender in the NBA.

Kawhi Leonard was better...... before the Zaza cheap shot.

I thought Kawhi Leonard retired a long time ago.

I mentioned it last night, but I still cannot believe that Durant did not pull up for the three to tie it there at the end. He was bringing the ball up the floor and would have probably been contested by Gordon. Instead he throws it to Klay cutting out from under the basket towards the three with Ariza draped all over him.

Thats right. Free throw was 1/2 from Paul to make it a three point game. Then a chance to tie when the refs magically found .5 on the clock.

I wonder what kind of animal tranquilizer CP3 injected into his ankle. He looked a lot better than he did in Game 3.

I am and have been a Rockets fan my whole life. I just have zero faith in Harden and the team, but again I had zero faith in the Astros last season. I will exit this thread and leave it to the "real" fans. I will be back only when we win the SHIP. #runasone #rednation #fearthebeard #dreamshake

You don't have to leave the thread man.

If you can't keep it together during the games, just stay off line for a few hours and freak out in your living room where nobody can see you. I know yesterday was a gut wrenching game, but your team won! Enjoy it. I'm a Mavericks fan and I wish I had a decent team to root for. I guess all I have up here is the cowboys. We can still make the playoffs this year. Rangers and mavs are dog chit terrible tho.

TNT kept mentioning PJ Tucker's lack of points in each game except game 2, but fail to ever mention his defensive leadership/rebounding/toughness.

He was, in my opinion, the unsung hero last night.

PJ Tucker's scoring is about the 3rd or 4th most important thing he does.

I keep seeing this discussed, but whats the correct call in the CP3 free throw situation at the end? Brick the last free throw and force the Warriors to shoot a half court 3 pointer to potentially win the game, or make it and give the Warriors a time-out and a better shot at tying the game? There's pros and cons for both plays, but not sure which has the better odds of working out. If CP3 purposely bricks the free throw, theres no guarantee that the Rockets get the rebound or it lands in a weird spot for the Warriors.

Also, I love Harden but I cringe every time he gets the ball in the 4th quarter with a few minutes left. Its like Im always expecting a turnover or a brick step back 3. I prefer Harden to play hard defense and let CP3 handle the ball late in the 4th, which is basically what happened last night.

Or make the first and there is really no way you can go wrong on the second: make, and it's a two possession lead; miss and the rebound chews up at least a couple of tenths of a second and there's no time to call a time out and then inbound and catch/shoot to tie.

**** off. Where have you been every game for the past 5 years? Cuz I've been right here, through thick and thin. In the past 6 seasons, I've probably watched 90% of all of our games.

Outside of the first few minutes last night, I was nothing but positive, as I NORMALLY am here. Go look at my posting history this season. I almost hate to have you do that though because I'm sure you'd just pull any negative comment out and make it sound like it's all I do.

So again. **** off.

With .5 left there is not enough time to grab the rebound, come down with the ball, reload and fire a length of the court shot. Even if there was a full second left I still miss on purpose. You go to OT you ain't winning that game anyways.

Making that free throw knowing that golden state had a TO and could inbound at half court was borderline insanity and dantoni and Paul both had a complete lack of situational awareness on that play.

I mean that's right up there with Kennedy not knowing the rule and having tavario Miller shoot the free throws against Kentucky 2 years ago bad

If GS rebounds the ball and immediately calls timeout, they advance the ball to midcourt. You don't really believe that the refs would leave anything less than 0.3 on the clock in that situation, do you?
HossAg

This. The fact that they called a damn off ball foul on the paint at the buzzer tells you all you need to know about that. They'd give em 0.4 seconds on the clock at least.

And you just know that the only reason the ref went through with the foul call after the review was for ego reasons. That whole time he was at the monitor, he probably just thought about how there's not a foul anywhere in there.

Yeah, it was ridiculous. If that was us taking that shot, the clock would have run out like a normal game. You don't call fouls in the paint in the final seconds, even when the shot is taking place down there. The fact that this was an off ball call just makes it that much worse.

No bc i don't feel like Golden state isn't going to cleanly grab a rebound with 4 rockets fighting for it.

Just my opinion but with a solid free throw shooter like Paul who can put the ball where he wants for the most part, I think he could quite easily throw the ball off the backboard while still hitting the rim (I've seen him do it multiple times before) and give no chance of a clean rebound.

I think that's a lot safer than curry shooting a wide open 25 footer in front of our bench for the tie but that's just me...but I do agree the insane foul and refs clock miscalculation in the plays leading up to that possibly influenced the decision.

It's also ridiculous because you clearly see his arm go up after the buzzer went off...
