There's a not so small part of me that would love for Pro Sports to either no longer be a thing, or not have such an insane pay scale. A lot of these dudes are so disconnected from reality.

Golden State gets revenge on that loss to Lakers earlier in season by scoring 80 points in the first half on them last night. Finished with 149 points and a franchise record 47 assists.

Warriors now 13-2 and seem to be really firing on all cylinders now offensively the last several games, Durant/Curry/Thompson are getting more wide open shots lately than they ever had in their career.

Thus, far, I personally haven't seen anything yet this season which leads me to think it won't likely be Golden State vs. Cavs for a third straight year in the NBA Finals this season.

Golden State now sitting at 16-2 on a 12 game winning streak. Cavs are sitting at 13-2. GSW has the best record right now in the West. Cavs have the best record right now in the East.

It isn't about 'annointing' anyone. Everybody knew that the odds were heavily in favor of it being yet another Golden State vs. Cleveland matchup in the NBA Finals (for the third straight year) and thus far this season, there hasn't been much yet to change that view. The only other possibility that seems to maybe have a chance is Clippers or San Antonio in the West...though buying stock in the Clippers in the playoffs has historically been fools gold. Even more difficult to see anyone in the East actually beating LeBron and Co. in a 7-game series.

Unfortunately, the Pelicans did not hold on to beat the Warriors last night.

However, had the Pelicans held on to win, it would have been the 5th Warriors loss, but the interesting thing would have been that 4 of those losses would have been to 4 different Southwest Division teams, and they would have had a losing record against the division.

However, Warriors didn't lose, and the 3 out of 4 of Warriors losses to 3 different SW division foes is interesting, it is only worthy of a mediocre post on the rarely visited thread on a forgotten board on Texags.

Golden State had 26 assists on 26 made FGs in the first half...don't think I've seen a team have an assist on every made FG in a half.
