So selfish, but not quite as selfish as pushing your teammates out of the way to get rebounds.

Okay sure buddy

If you want to pick at his rebounding numbers, the obvious target is his uncontested rebounds stat. The OKC bigs regularly get out of the way to give him freebies so that he can chase Robinson.

It's just the way he plays, he just goes after everything as if he is the only guy on the court. It's as if he truly believes if he doesn't go after those boards then his teammates won't get them.

That's a factor, that said, numbers aside, he is still one of the top rebounding guards in the league. Some of the boards he gets from opposing bigs are a result of his insane athleticism and desire.

No question he's the best rebounding PG in the league. He's big for a PG, can jump through the roof, and his motor is always running. But his numbers are inflated through teammate help. He's number #1 in uncontested boards by a mile.

Derrick Rose tore his meniscus. I know, I know he's a millionaire so we shouldn't feel sorry for him, but he's got worse knees than my ninety year old grandfather. It's rough to be that decrepit in your twenties.

I certainly feel bad for the guy. He grew up dreaming of playing basketball, had the talent to make it to the highest level, and won an MVP award. But he can't play anymore because his knees just can't the take strain of it. This is what, his fourth, catastrophic knee injury? Have to think he hangs them up for good now.

Maybe the Pelicans will sign him. We love injured players. A dead guy would have a better chance of seeing the court than some of the guys on our roster.

Can slot D. Rose comfortably into the Penny Hardaway/Grant Hill category. Worst part about sports.

You can toss Brandon Roy in there too, his knees were even worse

Not sure a torn meniscus is a catastrophic knee injury such as a ACL/MCL would be.

A mosquito bite within 4 inches of the knee cap would be a catastrophic knee injury for Rose.

It's not catastrophic. Hell, he could easily be back in time for next season. But it reinforces that he can't keep his knees right. They're time bombs.

It's crazy to think that if the Clippers win tonight, they will have home court advantage over the cavaliers should both teams make the finals. This may be the strongest group of Western Conference teams in a while. A Spurs/Rockets second round series may be the best series to watch of the whole playoffs.

Glad the playoffs are finally here.

Nah.

In 2014 and 2015, there were 7 WC teams with 50+ wins.

This year there are only two teams with a chance to win it all over 5% according to Nate Silver's never-faulty statistics.
