I don't know if they are trying too hard, are mentally weak, are just tired or some combination, but a ton of open shots have been inexplicably missed the last few games. A lot of these are good quality shots too.

Aldridge ought to be the leader on the court but when your biggest guy plays scared it's hard for the rest of the team to step up.

He's a no show on offense, defense, and rebounding. How many times has he given up rebounds when he had position because he tries to tip it to himself instead of jumping up to grab the ball?

I'll always remember Charles Barkley answering a reporter who asked him if he has strategies for rebounding especially as an undersized post. Chuck's answer: "Strategy? It's called go get the damn ball!"

It's the playoffs. The Warriors (and Grizzlies and Rockets for most of the series) are getting the damn ball while Aldridge tiptoes around like it's a preseason scrimmage and he just doesn't want to get hurt. The example is rebounding but it's really his whole approach to the game aside from 3 good games against Memphis and Houston combined.

I really think and hope ALdridge's knee is hurt.....regardless it is MORE than frustrating to watch

I'm not a big advanced stat guy, but I read somewhere that Aldridge has the worst contested rebounding percentage in the league. No idea if it's true, but it wouldn't surprise me. He gets way less than half of the 50/50 balls it seems.

It's a lot of fun watching Murray play. Most of the season it's been in garbage time, but he shows some flashes of being a stud.

Murray is already a good driver but his shot is suspect. He needs the same shooting program that Kawhi was/is on. If he can develop a jump shot he will be a good one.

I usually like advanced stats, but not the contested rebound stat. Truly great rebounders don't even allow many rebounds to be contested because of their positioning.

However, my eyeballs say that Aldridge allows most rebounds to be contested because he doesn't box out or move his feet. When they are contested, he waits on the ball instead of moving his feet and high-pointing the ball. As a result, he doesn't get possession nearly as often as someone his size should. It really is poor effort.

Why are we trying to play like the Warriors?!?!?! Jacking up 3s ...fast offense....wtf?!?!?

How do professionals not call something so obvious?

Things like that are why small ball is so prevalent.

That was both a super obvious foul and also a super weak foul. Like laugh out loud on both counts. Durant knows they won't call it, he was just trying to make Aldridge hang in the air so West could challenge the shot.
