Spurs lost to the Lakers by 39 and by 29 in 01. It was pathetic. Lakers swept the 1 seed Spurs.

It was after Juwan Howard injured Derek Anderson with the flagrant foul, but the way Kobe and Shaq were playing, no one was beating them.

Lamarcus and green back at it again

The Spurs dont have a true 2nd scorer that they can consistently rely on and I don't know how that changes overnight. LMA was supposed to be that guy, but he just can't be counted on and has shown that for two seasons now. Without that second scorer then you can't play Green as solely a defensive specialist at the 2. Add in an aging by the day Tony Parker and an undersized, streaky Mills and you have no consistency at PG either. Obviously we have no idea who our 5 should be as Dedmon, Gasol and Lee all have gotten some time there.

I said it during the regular season and was ripped a bit you honestly should blow the whole team up this offseason if we don't at least make the WCF (and that looks like a real long shot). I would be fine trading/not resigning anyone not named Kawhi. Hopefully we turn over at least half the roster to include 2 or 3 starters.

This team isn't close. The regular season was fool's gold. As painful as this is, it's better in the long run to be shown you aren't close so you can be willing make major changes.

If nothing else, please get rid of LMA.
