Spurs still win. Screw you refs.
Yeah I heard that at halftime. He is a terrible analyst.2008and1 said:

I think Pop is doing a pretty good job of coaching basketball. I may be in the minority but what he believes and says is of little consequence to me as long as he keeps winning basketball games.sincereag said:
Hey Pop...why don't you focus on coaching basketball and keep your remarks about our new President to yourself. You sound like one of those Hollywood actors.

Also this thread is slow enough as it is. Let's stick to basketball talk and how great Kawhi is.
I also welcome the occasional "F Houston" or "F Dallas" comments.
Don't look now but the Mavericks just beat the Lakers 122-73. This is the worst loss in Lakers team history. No starter had double figures for the Lakers.UMichAg said:
F Dallas.

I just hope Tony is willing to play off the bench when that time comes. And I think that time is next season.
lol we would have to trade the whole damn bench to afford thatObi Wan Ginobili said:
Murray is going to learn a lot next season when Chris Paul decides to don the Silver and Black and follow Pop and Kawhi to the promised land.
Strictly from a needs based perspective, I can't imagine a much better situation for CP3 than to come to SA to chase rings. I realize he would instantly make just about any team better (save for maybe the Cavs and Warriors), but what a perfect fit he would be in San Antonio.
Can you imagine the pick and rolls with Kawhi and LMA? It's already pretty lethal when Tony is healthy. Now picture CP3 instead, with his scoring ability. The team wouldn't lean on him to carry the scoring load, although I'm sure with the space the SA offense opens up, he would have plenty of opportunities. He's also a fantastic defender for a PG. If I were Pop, I would be salivating at the chance to run out CP3, Danny Green, and Kawhi on the opposing teams offense.
The cap will rise an extra 8-10 million this offseason, and Manu won't cost us 14 million. There's the majority of your CP3 money (the CBA rules make it more complicated, but that is the headline version). The bench would probably lose David Lee, Patty Mills, Jonathan Simmons, etc, but those guys aren't going to put the Spurs over the Cavs/Warriors in a 7 game series. You need big guns playing the majority of your minutes.azulAg said:lol we would have to trade the whole damn bench to afford thatObi Wan Ginobili said:

Finally getting to watch a game again. The nets are not good.
Leonard, Parker, Gasol, and Ginobili out and we still win by almost 30. That's incredible. On both sides.West Texan said:

And Murray started the game playing like a rookie. It's good to get these young guys some playing time against a team like Brooklyn where they can make a few mistakes and play through them. He came back and played pretty well in the 4th quarter.Deputy Travis Junior said:Leonard, Parker, Gasol, and Ginobili out and we still win by almost 30. That's incredible.
