Im new to this board so I wouldnt be surprised if this has been discussed before, but which franchise has the best home court advantage? Spurs, Warriors, Raptors, Celtics, Thunder?

The arenas I think of being predictably loud even when the team isn't all that good are the Warriors and Thunder.

The Warriors. They keep other fans in check with the threat of violence. Remember they are all Raiders and 49ers fans

When Utah was good- those Mormons could make that place a top 5 arena as far as noise. Top 2 in annoyance

Delta Center was pretty crazy back in the early-mid 90s.

The Warriors crowd seem suffocating since they have gone on this run. But then again my opinion may be skewed due to the fact that they have been raining downs threes and disappointment on my Rockets for years.

They were really incredible in the Baron Davis years when they upset the 67 win Mavs, too.

Anytime the Kings are on national television, that crowd seems loud. Especially for a team that hasn't been relevant in what, 13 years?

I'm guessing the Warriors crowd won't be as rowdy when they move across the bay.

Could not disagree more, and I don't get how you could even make that statement. They haven't been "not good" in a while, and when the warriors weren't good their crowds sucked.

I saw some pretty raucous crowds back before curry.

I bet the Spurs crowd would be "predictably loud" when the team isn't all that good but I'm only 35 so I can't really remember a stretch when they weren't.

In 86-88, you could sit pretty much anywhere you wanted in the Hemisphere Arena.

Warriors and Thunder fans bring it every home game, it seems.

Kings fans in the Arco Arena days were legit as hell.

Underrated: Spurs and Raptors home fans. Toronto is the national team of Canada, and these last few years they have been incredibly raucous.

Spurs have had some ridiculously loud moments since the SBC Center opened. The acoustics in there are terrific. Very intelligent fans, too. Probably a byproduct of watching a Pop-coached team for so long.

Warriors for sure.

OKC overrated. building is small which makes it loud but lots of fake noise coming from the PA system. It gets loud but it sounds better on television.

You actually couldn't be more wrong. The Warriors have had very strong fan support for a long time. Even when they were terrible, the stadium would fill. IMO, best fanbase in pro sports. Oddly enough, Raiders fans are the worst and they are literally right next to each other.

Raiders yes, Warriors no. You've obviously never been to Oracle. Opposing fans have no problems. Only issue I ever saw there was a Rockets fan trying to start fights.

Portland has an incredible fanbase as well. GS has always been great.

The Spurs atmosphere is great once the Playoffs start. Spurs fans have been spoiled and nobody cares that much in the regular season.

Spurs games were pretty rowdy when they were in the Alamodome, but there were also 40K people in there compared to a regular BBall gym.
